Mtsvane is one of Georgia’s most aromatic and expressive white grape varieties, especially well suited to producing classic dry white wines.. It is widely grown throughout Kakheti, including both Outer Kakheti and Shida Kakheti. While several appellations produce wines from Mtsvane Kakhuri, Akhmeturi Mtsvane stands apart for its distinctive freshness, elegance, and aromatic profile.

Our Mtsvane comes from Ozhio village in Akhmeta. Pale straw with a greenish tint, it offers delicate floral aromas together with notes of white peach, fruit blossom, and fresh citrus. On the palate, it is light, crisp, and refreshing, with bright acidity and a lively, elegant finish.

Food pairing:
Mtsvane pairs beautifully with boiled or fried fish, seafood, boiled chicken, fresh salads, citrus-based salads, and Imeruli khachapuri. For Asian cuisine, it works especially well with sushi, sashimi, steamed fish, Vietnamese-style salads, seafood noodles, and lightly spiced chicken dishes. In European cuisine, it pairs naturally with grilled fish, shrimp, mussels, goat cheese, vegetable tart, light pasta with herbs, and Mediterranean salads.
